Employment Programs
Parkview believes in nurturing talent and is proud to be developing the next generation of forward-thinking property experts – through our apprenticeship and cadetship training opportunities, internal development programs and our very own Leadership Academy.

Apprentice Program
Our award-winning apprentice program is aimed at training the next generation of supervisors within our business. Our apprentices are engaged through a third-party provider called First Choice Apprentices and complete a carpentry apprenticeship while working on site and gaining experience in all aspects of building.
This process ensures our apprentices are ready to transition straight into Leading Hand roles with Parkview upon completion of their apprenticeship. As a Leading Hand, our employees have the option of joining the Foreman Internal Development Program.

Cadetship Program
Parkview offers cadetships to successful applicants undertaking relevant external tertiary studies in construction and provides ongoing training and mentorship through our Internal Development Programs.
We have several pathways on offer, including Contract Administration (aimed at supporting a Cadet CA through to Senior CA), Engineering (taking a Cadet Engineer through to Project Engineer), and Estimating (taking a Cadet Estimator through to Senior Estimator). There is also the option of changing department pathways as our participants develop more experience and knowledge.
"I started as a Cadet Contract Administrator with Parkview but found it wasn't for me. I completed my Uni degree but wanted to be more hands-on, and thankfully, Parkview supported me in transitioning to a Leading Hand position. I have thrived thanks to terrific onsite mentors, and have already been promoted to Sub Foreman. I am so grateful to have the company's support in finding the right fit for me."
Development Programs
Our Internal Development Programs for apprentices and cadets are led by mentors from within Parkview’s senior management team. Each IDP participant is also assigned a day-to-day mentor, typically a graduate of this program, from whom they receive coaching, guidance, and training.
In a complete-picture approach, our participants are exposed to every aspect of the construction lifecycle, including project management, procurement, WHSE, finance, programming, design, people management and quality.
“I started as a CA with Parkview, but later moved into estimating. After a brief stint with another company, I returned to Parkview to experience benefits like a better workplace environment, improved resources, and new clients. I enjoy sharing my estimating knowledge and am proud to mentor and support our junior estimators.”
Leadership Academy
Our Leadership Academy is a two-year in-house program designed to identify and develop future leaders and managers of the Parkview Family, foster a collaborative and cohesive culture that promotes honesty and integrity, and cultivate a mentoring hierarchy across all levels of the business.
The Academy provides a continual learning environment for members with a focus on leadership development and acts as a success enabler for career development. It is part of our commitment and investment in developing the 'leaders of tomorrow' and promoting a culture of caring, boldness, honesty, and teamwork.
